Shirley Busby
As part of our leadership series we are talking with Shirley.
Q1. What roles and ministry do you serve in at St Nicholas?
I enjoy leading Nourish kids on Friday mornings this enables the mums to fellowship and study child free. I also am a co- leader/ support leader to Connect For Women on Wednesday evening.
In the past I have been involved in worship ministry but this year i am involved in other ministries.
Q2. Have you always been a Christian?
I became a Christian at the age of nine, whilst attending the Anglican Church in Wickham WA. My family have worshipped at St Nicholas in Australind for 24 years!
Q3. Favourite Hymn or worship Song?
I also love worship songs by Darlene Zchech and Matt Redman.
I also love some of the old hymns .
My favourite song would be oceans.
Q4. What do you enjoy doing?
My hobbies are art, gardening and entertaining.
I am a member of the Australind art club which i love.
I work as a carer and an education assistant in Australind.
