Over the past two years, we have been able to gather together in worship and intercessory prayer for all our churches, our leaders, our communities and region.
Join us this Sunday at 6pm here at St Nicholas.
This Sunday, August 16th at 6 pm we are hosting a gathering of leaders and members of local churches to St Nicholas who are combining with us in worship and prayer for God’s Kingdom to come and His will to be done in us, in our churches and in this region and beyond.
We will be using the Armour of God as our framework for the evening. The Armour of God in Ephesians 6 is itself framed in the context of prayer. Our shield wall is established not so much through physical proximity as uniting in prayer. And so, this evening we are following Paul’s exhortation in Ephesians 6:18 to ‘pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests’. He goes on to say that whenever the opportunity presents, he will ‘fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel’ for which he is an ambassador in chains! May that also be true of us. We have such good news to share. Maybe see you there.
