We have completed our first ever online Alpha recently, with our last session on June 14th. Happily, we were able to meet for the Holy Spirit day and last two sessions at church. We are planning another Alpha later this year probably running from the end of September. Contact Rev Jamie to register below for an invitation. We may well begin again on Zoom and then move to the church building later in the course. You are most welcome to join us.
What is Alpha? Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that explore the basics of the Christian faith.
Who’s it for?
Alpha is for anyone who’s curious to explore the big questions of life, faith and meaning. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment.
How does it work?
Typically run over eleven weeks, no two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a short talk and a discussion where you can share your thoughts. There’s no pressure and no follow up.
How much is it?
There’s no charge for Alpha. Though, here at St Nicholas, we ask you contribute $10 toward an Alpha Guide book however, this is entirely optional.
