This year we are trialling an Alpha course for men. Check out the video and tabs below to learn more. We have run 11 Alpha courses here already for anyone who is interested and we love the interaction this brings. However, our men's group are trialling an Alpha for men beginning on July 21st. Currently, we are aiming to meet face to face but subject to Covid restrictions we can run it via Zoom. You are most welcome to join us. We may also run another Alpha later in the year open to all. Contact Rev Jamie via the form below for an invitation.
What is Alpha? Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that explore the basics of the Christian faith.
Who’s it for?
Alpha is for anyone who’s curious to explore the big questions of life, faith and meaning. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment.
How does it work?
Typically run over eleven weeks, no two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a short talk and a discussion where you can share your thoughts. There’s no pressure and no follow up.
How much is it?
There’s no charge for Alpha. Though, here at St Nicholas, we ask you contribute $10 toward an Alpha Guide book however, this is entirely optional.
