Rosalind has been at Durham Cathedral (UK) since 2005, where she oversees its public ministry.
Prior to that, after a career in town planning in the UK, she moved to the US and during the 1990s lived in a Benedictine community of men and women in a very deprived part of western Pennsylvania. It was there she recognised her call to ordained ministry and, after training at Yale Divinity School she served in a parish as well as the Community.
When she returned to the UK in 1999, she was based in Salisbury where she trained people for ordained and lay ministry. During that time she chaired the Diocese of Salisbury’s working party on the ministry of deacons and among her publications on aspects of ministry is ‘Being a Deacon Today’ (Canterbury Press – available from Diocesan Library).
